I have 3 tattoos myself, as long as you get them because YOU want them and they actually mean something to you, I think you should go for it. I don't personally advertise mine, they can all be hidden by clothes, but don't just get them because you think they are cool. In ten or twenty years you might hate the body art that you got as a teen. Make sure its something you really really want cause you are stuck with them for the rest of your life. Unless you like blowing money and get a tat then get it removed by lasers, then do what you want.
