2011 Chevrolet Volt
The Chevrolet Volt plug-in electric car, the centerpiece of General MotorsÂ’ comeback, was named North American Car of the Year Monday. With a starting price of about $41,000, the Volt travels between 25-50 miles on an electric charge before a gasoline-engine switches on to generate more electricity.
