There's a boom in the number of young bingo players in many Houston area bingo halls.
At the Family Bingo Center in Northeast Houston, players as young as 7 are hoping for a big bingo win.
Teens and Young adults are also hoping to cash in with a night of play for as little as $2, and prizes as large as $700.
The Family Bingo Center has 'dollar nights' each Tuesday and Friday beginning at 7:30 p.m. For just $2 you can play in each of 9 games that night; making it family fun on the cheap. Friday nights draw crowds of more than 500 Bingo players.
