At Dana Scott's Pecan Grove house the "Welcome" sign is always out. Although, she never invited what showed-up at 3:30 Tuesday morning.

"We heard a noise from the car and I wanted to see what was going on," Scott said.

She looked out her bedroom window, saw someone in her car and called 9-1-1. But It didn't stop there--she walked outside! Scott approached two men who didn't belong near her house

One was inside a truck, the other was hiding next to a neighbors car holding a duffle bag.

"I wasn't scared. I asked who are you and what are you doing here," Scott said.

That duffle bag is now evidence with the Fort Bend County Sheriffs office. Inside the bag were tools, a hockey mask, a ski cap and GPS systems. Investigators say they came from at least nine cars in Scott's neighborhood. Investigators say the cars were broken into the same night. Zachary Allen and Andrew Brasseur, both 18, now face burglary charges..

They were arrested because Scott stalled for time and even followed the suspects in the neighborhood.

"So I stalled for time. He said he wanted to come back to my house and I told him we could do this the easy way or the hard way," Scott said.

Fort Bend County Investigators say Scott's actions helped with the arrest. They caution it could have been different.

"This worked out fine, but she could have been attacked or assaulted," said Chief Deputy Craig Brady.
