Jessica Tata, operator of Jackie's Child Care in West Houston, will face a total of ten charges, stemming from the fire that killed four children and injured three others at the home daycare she ran. The Harris County District Attorney's Office has also filed paperwork to bring her back from overseas. The 22 year old American citizen is believed to have fled to Nigeria.

Today District Attorney Patricia Lykos called allegations that her office did not press charges quickly enough "outrageous." She also warned the public to be wary of a business called "Houston Benefit of Day Care Victims," set up by Tata's brother, Ronald. Lykos says anyone wanting to help the victims of the fire and their families should be make sure the charities are legitimate.
