Deadly Shooting

Precinct 4 deputies are searching for a man who they say shot and killed another man after an argument. It happened at a house in the 14,200 block of Cypress Meadows Drive around 3:00. According to early reports, the men were arguing inside the house when one shot the other in the head. He was taken to the hospital where he died. The suspect, 39-year-old Lox Gorme, AKA Mizel Yakas, took off from the house after the shooting. Cops were searching the neighborhood from the air and ground with K-9 units and helicopters. We are told several children may have been inside the house at the time of the shooting, but they are all okay. One neighbor who wasn't home at the time was scared for his children's safety. "I was concerned, so I came home. My son is old enough to take care of his sister, but when I got home and saw all the police I knew they were okay," said Joel Hopper. Harris County Homicide Detectives are now investigating.
