So Alana is showing her and her friend Sarah Cassidy how to take their uniform and make it rocker chic, or collegiate cool, with a few simple additions.
Alana says, "Lots of layers of chunky bracelets, chunky thin, color leather gold, just a whole concoction. We have some rock star jewelry in black leather, and then a high boot and what else do you need to be a rocker?"
Belts are huge this season, you can wear them high waisted for a tailored look, or slung low on the hips to make it edgier.
And funky necklaces and bracelets are a dress code friendly way of showing off your personal style.
