A group of local women diagnosed with breast cancer are healing through their art. The patients turned artists at the Kelsey Seybold clinic showed off their artwork Thursday.
The pieces are created by the Breast Cancer Support Group, a growing group of women in all stages of breast cancer treatment and recovery. Each piece of art represents each woman's struggle.
" Breast cancer is such an individual journey. Yes, we all go through chemo, some of us have surgery and some of use have radiation and each of the journeys are so individual and these collages demonstrate that," said Frances Arzu, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Support Group.
