Blushing bride-to-be, Natalie Silvas, is elated and exhausted; elated because she and her fiancé, Likhi Orozco, are now $10,000 richer and exhausted because they won that money by kissing for about 15 hours non-stop.
"At the beginning it was okay," said Silvas. "After three hours I said I don't know if I can do this."
The couple tied with another couple during the kissing contest that started Saturday at the Bridal Extravaganza and actually split the reward.
"The other couple never realized we were so close to giving up," said Orozco.
The rules said they had to stand the entire time with their lips touching. Though they were allowed to talk, they could not eat, drink, or take a potty break.
A big disadvantage they had was their height difference. She's 5'1''; he's 5'10''. The 20 year-old wore five inch heels she says nearly killed her.
"The last 30 minutes I was crying because I was in so much pain," said Silvas. "But we had to stick it out."
Their strong bond, resilience, and love of kissing will be helping them to get the wedding of their dreams.
