Jim "Mattress Mack" McInvagle is now being sued by the Greater Northside Management District over back dues. McIngvale doesn't deny that he owes $48,000 but he questions what he gets for his money.
The lawsuit comes just a week after his main Gallery Furniture warehouse burned in a fire that's been determined to be arson.
McIngvale says he's already paying nearly $2,000 per week out of his own pocket to mow the grass along I-45 North between Tidwell and Parker. He says if he didn't do it that the feeder road would flood.
