"Most of the elderly people you know they don't have someone that can serve them food. They don't have a provider, and they need blankets and stuff to keep them warm. We have to try to keep them comfortable and give them food every day," said Teamer.

Meals on Wheels distributes more than 4,000 meals a day.

"I know how it is when you get to a certain age, you just can't fend for yourself. You have to have someone who's going to help you," said Teamer.
