Searchers found the body of a missing woman from Crosby around 9 a.m. Thursday morning.
Doris Ann King, 71, went missing a week ago, on Aug. 6.
Wednesday afternoon, detectives found her car in the woods in Liberty County after conducting an aerial search in and around Crosby.
Her abandoned car was parked along County Road 6242 near FM 1960.
Deputies called in K-9 units to locate King, who suffered from Alzheimers.
Her body was discovered within a mile of the car.
