HOUSTON—
At Saint Arnold's Brewery, brewers are constantly crafting their beers. Testing to make sure the conditions are just right. The Divine Reserve Series of beers are unique, the beer is only made once. After it's gone, it's gone. The way they come up with these beers is unique too."We had a big competition, called the Big Batch Brew Bash, and everyone makes one style of beer, and we have to judge that. Whoever has the best recipe in the most flavorful beer, gets made into Divine Reserve," said Lennie Ambrose, marketing and events manager at Saint Arnold.
Today Divine Reserve # 8 hit the shelves. Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, and of course Houston, got 1,504 cases and 29 kegs. And they wont last long.
Joey Williams beer manager at Specs Liquor says it was a mad rush to the beer part of the store, he said he'd never seen anything quite like it. " It's pretty unusual we have some that they anticipate, but nothing like the Divine Reserve. Every time the Divine Reserve is released it's a sight to see," said Williams
The beer went so fast customers had to get creative. Some turned to twitter to find people writing about where you can find it ,and who's out of it.
"It's kind of cool that other people are giving tips to where they can find it," said Ambrose.
If you can't find the beer, don't feel too bad. There's a rumor St. Arnold's is working on a new beer to get you into the holiday spirit.
