Over 1,000 animals were rescued from a home in NorthWest Houston Wednesday.
SPCA investigators raided the home after receiving an anonymous tip.
Investigators said the conditions inside the home were deplorable; the home filled with trash.
The owners told investigators they intended to sell the animals at a flea market.
Most of the rescued were birds including parrots, finches, ducks, chickens, and geese.
Turtles, Snakes, 1 goat, 1 pony, hampsters, and 3 dogs were also recovered.
A court date will be set within the next 10 days to determine who will have custody of the animals.
