The Spec's in Midtown is busy. They sell a whole lot of wine, but they also want to sell you on helping out the environment. They're asking customers to bring in all of their used corks. Lisa Key is the Director of Sales and Marketing and she says,
"We are recycling corks and we do two things: we keep things out of the landfill and off so Terra Cycle is going to donate $.02 per cork and that money will go to young Texans against Cancer to aid for Cancer research."
The corks are taken to a place called Terra Cycle where this item will be "up-cycled" into eco-friendly products like this cork board then resold back at the store.
