Two Houston-area teachers are starting off the school year with a brand new wardrobe courtesy of Jones New York and Macy's.
Through the Back to School, Back to Style! contest, Northbrook High School teacher Bhavna Rawal won a trip to New York, a fashion makeover with a celeb stylist, and $1500 worth of clothes.
Rawal was also given money for school supplies and improvements from national education non-profit Adopt-A-Classroom.
"It was fantastic," said Rawal. "I felt like a little princess."
Over 1700 teachers were nominated by friends, students, and peers.
Winners were selected for their dedication in the classroom.
Rawal and six other teachers were selected for the trip to New York.
Houston's second-prize winner, Nelva Williamson is a teacher at Gregory-Lincoln Education Center.
