The FBI Houston Bank Robbery Task Force is trying to identify a man who was caught on camera robbing a bank in an all-but-inconspicuous disguise.According to officials, a "master of disguise" walked into Prosperity Bank - 8820 Westheimer in Houston - at about 1:20 p.m. Thursday.
He was wearing a towel over his head, a baseball cap on top of the towel and big, dark sunglasses.
The man approached the teller counter and produced a note demanding money. The teller complied with his demand and handed over the cash, officials said. Witnesses told investigators the robber fled the bank on foot and was last seen running south.
Surveillance footage shows the robber as a black man, 24-25 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, 140-160 pounds with a slim build and a dark complexion.
The suspect's disguise consisted of a loose-fitting tan jumpsuit and a blue towel that covered his head and shoulders. Above the towel he wore a blue baseball cap. He was also wearing sunglasses, police said.
