You're not hearing all that much about the Occupy Wall Street movement lately huh? Although not the government reform engine it set out to be.
I think it wasn't a total failure. Occupy successfully put government and big business on notice that the "have not’s" are pissed and want their fair share too!
I want to thank Nat Berman for his suggestions on some other occupy movements that might help make a much needed difference in our wallets!
First, occupy pharmaceuticals! Prescription meds has one of the highest mark ups anywhere! Up to 5000% in some cases, and sometimes rather than curing a disease it’s more profitable for drug companies to medicate you and let you suffer with it! While you're at it, occupy healthcare! Forget those not having healthcare, of course they need options for care, but even if you have health insurance, premiums today are higher and plans seem to cover less.
Now, how about occupy your cable company? Need I say more? Your bill goes up, yet they keep showing the same movies over and over!
Finally, we could really use occupy movie theatre concessions! You think Wall Street is screwing you?! $7.50 for a 50 cent bag of popcorn?! $5 bucks for box of milk duds and another $5 for a soda?! C'mon.. I'll bet if you do the math movie theaters are screwing us way more than Wall Street!
Anyway occupiers rally the troops and get after it! At least camping out in a movie theatre will be more fun than living outside in a public park!!
