Some criminals aren't the brightest crayon in the box. A home burglary trio in Houston is proof of just that.
Two males and a female decided to go on a burglary spree. They hit up an apartment in Channelview. Unfortunately for them, they were confronted by people in the apartment, so they only got away with a television. About half an hour later, they decided to give it another try at a nearby home. They broke in and told the homeowner to get in the closet, then proceeded to rob the place.
After they were done, they hopped in their vehicle and took off. That's when their little escapade ended. A patrol duty found 17-year-old Kassandra Beltran, 19-year-old Raymond Paige and 20-year-old Kolby Fleeks a short distance away. They had run out of gas.
