It was a warm welcome for the NewsFixer at the Country Terrace Apartments on Wallisville. But why is the fur starting to fly?
Would you believe it’s all about a cat?
A cat that’s been stuck up on the roof of the apartments for more than a month.
Folks here say they tried to get the cat down, but when that didn’t work they called in the pros.
The SPCA told the NewsFixer they did come out, but the apartment manager blocked their efforts. Really? Who would stop someone from helping a poor kitty cat?
So when all else failed, residents called in the NewsFixer.
And we called the SPCA again. About an hour later, an SPCA investigator showed up. This time, they were allowed to go up on the roof to set traps.
The next day the traps worked and the poor little kitty was finally rescued from the roof.
