British rapper M.I.A. who flipped the bird at the world on the Super Bowl halftime show with Madonna Sunday, may have turned herself into the next YouTube sensation. She received more than two million new hits for her new video "Bad Girls" since giving the one-finger salute.

"If you ever listen to her songs, it's not even about being disrespectful," says Houston fan Meka Ogazi. "It's just about her saying, 'I don't care what anybody says, I'm gonna get my message out.'"

She got it out alright. But a lot of Houstonians did not appreciate it on what is considered by many to be a "family program."

"It's acting out, childish," said Garret Choquette, enjoying the sunshine outside the Galleria-area Jamba Juice Monday. "Publicity stunt more than anything probably."

Both NBC and the NFL have apologized for M.I.A.'s finger foul, but so far, an apology from the rapper herself is... well, M.I.A.
