Haven't made any Valentine's Day plans yet? We suggest a nice quiet dinner at home.
Jamie Cunningham spent three years as a personal chef in Paris and Indonesia, and she suggests for the novice chefs, "If you don’t like to cook, you need to work with the things you like to eat."
And who doesn`t love chocolate? Well, that’s all you could find in her kitchen on this day.
Cunningham taught a class called "Au Chocolat", so every dish was made with chocolate.
And who’s better than your significant other to create chocolat dishes with.
Tony & Kelli Davison came to the class together.
"Tony’s more of the cook, and I figure it’s time for me to step up a little bit," Kelli explained. "I’m very interested in baking, and I told him I was so he surprised me with this gift for my birthday."
Tony said, "Rather than just buying a cookbook and teaching yourself at home, I thought this would be something a little more fun to do together."
And after this class, she may be able to return the favor and give him a great Valentine’s Day gift.
Chef Cunningham went on to share that "the three chocolate sauces that we’re making with our soufflés could also be used as body paint."
"Oh, we weren’t aware of that aspect of this class," said Kelli. Tony echoed with, "Chose the right class."
This may be a sure fire way to make sure you’re getting something sweet this year.
