HOUSTON, TX—
Beer...Probably one of the greatest concoctions ever created by mortal man and not just a libation to be consumed on its own.
This is the 5th annual Saint Arnolds One Pot Cook Off where the rules are simple: A team of four uses one pot, their own recipe and any Saint Arnolds Brew.
Teams are also themed. There are the Pot Heads, the Saints of Anarchy and of course the Soup Ninjas.
The teams spent all day cooking there beer infused creations and a group of local dining enthusiasts judge the culinary delights.
This year’s winner was the Bears Gone Drinking. They won $500 bucks and a really cool trophy.
Good times and all of this proves--at least to some--that ancient adage: beer is food!
