The Chinese lunar calendar just ushered in the year of the dragon. What better way to celebrate than with fireworks? In the sky and in the bedroom. The Chinese are getting it on in hopes of having the hottest item this dragon year... a dragon baby!
Hospitals across Asia are bracing for a baby boom in 2012 because in Chinese culture, it's considered good luck to be born during a dragon year and it happens every 12 years. Those born as dragons are seen as the smartest, strongest and luckiest.
2000 was the last dragon year and saw a 10 percent spike in births, compared to declining birth rates during the non-dragon years in between.
