His name is Costis Mitsotakis and he just instantly became the poorest man in his town.
How did this happen? Every Christmas in Spain, there's a lottery so big, that people take off from work to watch it live on TV. The lottery is called "El Gordo", which means "the fat one" and this past drawing was the biggest in its history.
The town of Sodeto, Spain got all 70 household together to buy tickets for the mega drawing... every resident of the town except for one, Mr. Mitsotakis. Seems like they just plain forgot!
Depending on how many tickets they bought, some of the town's folks won millions, and some won a minimum of $130,000... the prize sum of just one lottery ticket.
