BREMEN, GA—
You usually go to Walmart for cheap socks or people watching. Not to pick up a kid.
But 7-year-old Brittney Baxter says a bad guy scooped her up, put his hand over her mouth and tried to cart her away from a Bremen, Georgia store and surveillance video caught it all on tape.
Fortunately, Brittney's Fairy God Mother must have been in that isle too. She got away and not long after, 25-year-old Thomas Woods, was arrested.
'You try to get away and go tell somebody that you trust,' says Brittney of her miraculous escape.
Her family says she knew what to do thanks to Stranger Danger training.
