LOS ANGELES, Calif. (KTLA) -- A local man was arrested for smoking pot on a Jet Blue flight headed to Newark, New Jersey.
Adam Blumenkranz, 43, of Los Angeles, reportedly lit up a marijuana pipe mid-flight on Monday in the plane's bathroom.
Police met Blumenkranz at the terminal gate in New Jersey and took him into custody.
He is charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia.
Blumenkranz told police he did not believe he had done anything wrong because he has a medical marijuana card.
