Gossip Girl Bling Sweepstakes
Official Rules

1. HOW TO ENTER:  NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED AND OUTSIDE THE KIAH VIEWING AREA. Sponsor’s computer clock shall be the official timepiece of the Sweepstakes. The Gossip Girl Bling Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:01 am (CT) Monday, November 17, 2008 and ends at 12:00 pm (CT) Sunday, November 23, 2008. To enter, log onto www.39online.com, click on the Contests tab, and accurately complete the official Gossip Girl Bling online entry form by correctly answering all three Gossip Girl Trivia, submitting your name, age, address, telephone number, and e-mail address. All entries must be received by 12:00 pm CDT on Sunday, November 23, 2008. Entrants must use their own name. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the registrant or holder of the e-mail account will be deemed the person who submitted the entry. Received entries become the property of Sponsors, and will not be returned. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, incomplete, late, illegible, or misdirected entries, or for errors in mechanical transmission, technical difficulties or inability to transmit Internet entries. No electronically or mechanically reproduced entries, and the use of automated or third-party website or software to enter is prohibited.

2.SELECTION OF WINNER: There will be a total of one winner.  Representatives of KIAH will select the winner by a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Sponsors will attempt to notify the winner by telephone within 24 hours.  Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. If a winner is found to be ineligible or cannot be reached within 48 hours of the first notification, that winner will be disqualified, and an alternate winner may be selected.

3.PRIZE: One (1) winner will receive a one hundred (100) dollar gift card to À Bientôt and a season one Gossip Girl DVD pack. Approximate retail value of $120.00. Properly claimed prize will be awarded, but in no event will Sponsors award more prizes than are provided for in these Official Rules. Prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable, and not redeemable for cash, credit or merchandise. If the prize becomes unavailable for any reason, Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of comparable value. The winner must claim their prize at the KIAH studio located at 7700 Westpark Dr. Houston, Texas 77063.  Our office hours are Monday thought Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. If prize is not claimed within 30 (thirty) days, it will be forfeited. Sponsors have no obligation to draw alternate winners if prize is not picked up. Winner must bring a valid government-issued ID and sign an affidavit of eligibility and release to claim prize. 

4. CONDITIONS & RESTRICTIONS: Entrants agree that Sponsors have the sole right to decide all matters and disputes arising from this Sweepstakes and that their decision is final and binding. Winner agrees to allow use of his/her name, voice, photograph, likenesses and any information provided on an entry form, in any medium of communication, including print, Internet, radio and/or television and for any purpose, including advertising, promotional or other purposes, by Sponsors and/or their affiliates, without additional compensation. Winner, by acceptance of prize, agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsors, their respective parent companies and affiliates, and each of their employees, representatives, contractors, sponsors and advertisers, from any and all liability, loss, damage, costs or claims arising from the Winner’s participation in this Sweepstakes, receipt and use of prizes, and any Sweepstakes-related or prize-related travel or activity. Winner assumes all applicable tax liability for prize.

5. ELIGIBILITY: You must be eighteen (18) years of age or older and a legal U.S. resident of the KIAH viewing area. Sweepstakes is not open to employees of Sponsors or their affiliated companies, licensees, advertising or promotional agencies of Sponsors associated with this Sweepstakes. Immediate family members of those employees are also ineligible.

6. SPONSORS: Sweepstakes is sponsored by KIAH-TV, 7700 Westpark Drive, Houston, Texas 77063 and À Bientôt, 3268 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77098.

7. INTERNET: Sponsors not responsible for virus or other damage to entrant’s computer from participation in the Sweepstakes. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, or if this Sweepstakes or any web site associated therewith (or any portion thereof) becomes corrupted or does not allow the proper playing of the Sweepstakes and processing of entries in accordance with these rules, or if infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, in the Sponsors’ sole opinion, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsors reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such action and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes or any portion thereof.  In the event this Sweepstakes is cancelled, the Sponsors will conduct a random drawing to award prize from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the time of the action or event warranting such cancellation. If such cancellation, termination, modification, or suspension occurs, notification will be posted at the Entry Site. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE (INCLUDING THE ENTRY SITE) OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND/OR CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sweepstakes rules shall be governed and enforced pursuant to Texas law, excluding choice of law provisions.
