    The other day, out of nowhere, my youngest asks me, dad, who said, &quot;the only thing we have to fear is fear itself"? I guess she heard it somewhere and was using the phrase to get past her own fear of the dark. I told her that the 32<sup>nd</sup> President of the United States Franklin Delano Roosevelt spoke those words in 1932 at his inaugural address. The longest serving President, Roosevelt was elected at the depth of the great depression, but said those words to help the American people regain faith in themselves.
