  1. Future Scouts: Girl Scouts deliver gift baskets to future scouts

    It's cookie eating season for most of us, but it's recruiting season for the Girl Scouts in San Jacinto Council.  Spreading a little good will is never a bad way to get recruits. So, the girls are delivering gift baskets for all the "future" scouts born this week, at Ben Taub General Hospital. Everything from hand-made cards and baby essentials, to tiny Girl Scout gear. New parents had perfect "birth-day" timing in honor of the Girl Scouts 100th Anniversary. So, happy birthday scouts, to both this generation, and the next!
