Highlights

UCF is one of the fastest rising athletic programs in the Southeast. With an enrollment of nearly 49,000 students, it has the sixth-largest enrollment in the nation. Athletically it moved from the Mid-American Conference to Conference USA in 2005 and has seen instant results in both football and basketball.
The Knights football program (around since 1979) went to its first bowl game in the program¿s history in ¿05 (Hawaii Bowl) and opened the school¿s first on campus stadium in August 2007 (45,000 capacity).
