    A man, police said, ran a red light and is responsible for a crash that killed two teenage girls in Houston on Friday. According to the medical examiners office, Avaianca Andrea Cortez and Rashaunda Jenayle Raleigh died at the scene. 39 News has learned the third victim, 13-year-old Detrihanna Davis, died at the hospital.

The Island, long known for its beaches, has started the master planning process to envision another type of natural destination: the 686-acre East End Lagoon Preserve.
