Temps This Week Rival 1980's Heatwave

Remember 1980? That summer, over 25 years ago, was one of the more memorable heat waves in the Houston area. June finished out that year with 6 days of triple digits, culminating on the 30th with a high of 103 degrees. The streak continued in July with a string of triple digits, making it one of the hottest summers on record.
